It is barely a secret that it takes a lot of money to create a new game. We would prefer the development to be financed directly by the people who would play the final product. After all, we are somewhat happy every single time we learn that someone who downloaded one of our games illegally decided to buy a copy after all. At times we even find ourselves offered financial support - all for keeping the team afloat.
Frankly, we get quite a few letters like that lately - which is not that surprising: the world is rapidly changing. The new network technologies might as well allow us to exclude any go-between, to set up a direct line of communication between the gamer and the developer, which would surely rock. We always said that our games are intended for a co-author rather than for a consumer, so now we have decided to construct a sort of a network to connect any number of co-authors by means of direct communication.
At present, there are quite a few web-based platforms that offer indie developers an opportunity to sell their games even before they are made - which allows them to get the necessary resources to produce the title. We have decided to try it out as well.
If our plan succeeds - we will gain the possibility to make games which a typical publisher would consider too unusual, too bold, and barely commercially oriented. We will be able to make "Frost". To make "The Vital Word". Finally, we might even make a technologically modern remake of "Pathologic". We have a boatload of ideas waiting to be brought to life - you can take our word for it!
We started the studio in 2001 as a laboratory for devising the creative forms of a new kind of games. We look forward to your help in our mission.

There is a wooden house standing in the thick of the forest. A single man resides there.
As of late the house is visited by unusual Guests which knock on the window shutters inviting the hermit to take part in a game of hide-and-seek.
